FAQ

I just wrote an email answering some FAQ to my prayer team, but I thought maybe my blog-followers would enjoy it as well. So here you go.

How long are you here in the States for?
I return to Ecuador on December 28.

What is the purpose of your time here in the States?

I am doing a Home Ministry Assignment right now. The purpose is to re-connect with family, friends and supporters. I am also raising financial support to be able to return to Ecuador.

What do you do in Ecuador?

The short version is that I work with a team of people to identify and equip Christian leaders in Ecuador who are in need of support and resources. Facilitating short term mission teams, offering training, and discipleship are a few of the ways I offer support to Christian leaders in Ecuador.

How much support do you need to raise?
I need to raise about 20% of my budget.

How can someone financially support you?

I have a non-profit organization, International Teams, that my financial support goes through. Anyone interested in financially supporting me on a monthly basis or through a one-time gift can contact me for more information or go to: https://wwws.iteams.org/us/giving-form

So, now that you're getting married, what are your plans?
Andrés and I plan to live in Ecuador for at least the next few years. He will continue to build up his dentistry practice in Quito. I will continue to serve as a missionary and build into the ministry I have been doing for the last 3 years. Hopefully sometime in 2012 we will be able to visit the States together. In the future, we hope to use his dentistry skills on the mission field.

The facts mam. Nothing but the facts. I must say your short version for what you do is practically abbreviated. The true scope of the work and ministry you do measured by lives you touch would take a small book to include all that you are a part of. Thankfully God gave you an incrediably large heart and mind.

Thanks, mom. Did you see the video I just posted? It's from Ecuador's tourism campaign...
